There is a God!

Alarm. 5.15am.
This is way too early.
No, I do love the mornings, not just so early ones.

Eyes open. Get dressed.
Breakfast - No. Too early.
Crab a cup of coffeé. Run out the flat to catch the train.

Fresh air. No sunlight as always. It is Aberdeen. But something inside this air makes me feel fresh. There is like something saying to me "Good morning!" Yes I do love mornings. They remind me Balys. Just sunlight and cigarettes are missing.

The train station looks sleepy. Everything seems to be moving slow. Like there is still lots of dream-dust on people. It makes me feel sleep again.

I'm looking at train times. My train arrives 7.52.
It is 7.15. Early- again.
I sat on a bench and start looking at people: business men with suitcases, women in every ages. Why they asre in such a hurry but moving so slow? May be it´s just me.

Older women with lots of bags and two 7 to 9 years old children. Children look so tired. They are leaning on their mum.

Hmm...think the train arrived. Going through the gates to train. Coach G seat 2A. Yes next to window. Good night!

“Excuse me, is this seat taken? “
There is a man in his 70 may be even 80 standing next to my bench. I'm looking at him and trying to understand what he just said?
“Excuse me, is this seat taken?”

“No no, ye you cans sit here.”
I move my thing bit more together so he could fit next to me.

“What the wonderful weather isn't it?”
I'm looking out of the window and realise it is sunny again. (obviously we need to be out of Scotland )
“Yes it is.”
“ I apologise I woke you up ...So where do you travel from?”

“Aberdeen.”

From there on he told me a lots of thing about Aberdeen he knew and kept asking about all the places you can ski. I think he thinks I am from there. Not sure how should I bring it up that I'm not Scottish?

“I have been to Aberdeen just a week I don't know this place really well.”
“Ou, I see. Where you from then?”
“Estonia.”
“So you are not Scottish? Got me fooled then.“
Not sure how to react for that sentence, so I just smile.

We passed a beautiful town, cant remember the name.
He suddenly starts to talk about churches in that town. Also about god.
From that on my history lesson started. In Lincoln there is cathedral which is one of he most English English cathedrals. (not sure what that means)
He talked about people I have never heard, of places I should know but unfortunately don't have a slightest idea.
He talked about his life. And how friends around him are dying because of ages.
Every word he said sounded like it comes with a bigger story behind it. If I looked into his eyes you could see that his is not with me. He is in that place he is talking about. Sometimes I saw a tear in his eye.

"I'm not religious"
"It is sad, it is very sad, because there is a god."
I found it better not to argue with him.

Next stop : Newark
"That is me.
"Ou. Well nice to meet you darling. And deficiently go to those places. Hope you will find god one day."
"Nice to meet you too, Good bye."

Famous People!

It was one of those days I was on the road again.
Journey was from Aberdeen to Kirkcaldy. Took evening train, as I had university at the daytime.
Arrived in train station at 17.00. My train leaves at 17.40. I was too early, as always.
Bought my coffeé again.
Queue was amazingly short for all those people rushing around train station.
Anyway the train arrived.
76 F, couch D. Found my place. Yes- empty. No-one sitting next to me.
I took hoody out of my bag to use it as pillow. Good night.

"....next stop Dundee..."
"Excuse me. I think I am sitting next you."
"Yee Sure." Putting quickly all my things together which are lying all around the place.
How come I have so much stuff. It seems it is taking ages to get everything together. Done, at last. So who is this?

A guy in his mid 40 I think. He smiles at me and asks where am I heading?
"To Kirkclady. It `s just couple of stops from here. I think will take just under an hour. "

"Aright. Well ye...I am...."
From now on. I heard his whole life story. He was in Dundee to visit his family. He is Scottish, but lives down in England, near London. You better don't get this part wrong...He is Scottish, NOT English.
He has his own company. Doing catering services. He is a busy man as he said. He listed lots of famous people he has met thanks to his company. (who I have never heard of, but i think it is cause they are local British stars who I don't really know.)

"The stars are just like me and you. Just normal people. I have MET them. I know some people think they are something big or ...you know...like STARS. But they are actually not. I KNOW"
We had this conversation on for a while. He seemed quite proud. It was nice to hear him talking with such a enthusiasm.

The conversation carried on on advertisements.
He have played in one of them. It was for German rail service company. I got to see the video, as he had it with him in his laptop. Interesting, but I didn't really recognise him, as there was lots of people. In the video they all had to dance together, which seemed quite complicated. At the same time it seemed to be lots of fun. Amazing....
I mean to make all these random people to work together. Talent!
Rest of the journey he kept talking about the feeling what he had by doing this and also about famous people he admires. He seemed very sincere in everything he said.

But I didn't understand was it just a topic to talk about or he tried to impress me...
I mean not specifically me, ME could been anyone else. Just impress someone?

"next stop Kirkcaldy" "Its me. Thanks. Have a safe journey. "
"You as well. Was very nice to meet you. See you later!"
We sounded like friends...

And I never got his name......
